The main event will be on Sunday, February 10, in the Arco Iris room at the fairgrounds. In addition to the popular rummage sale, there will be children’s activities, food and drink, a bake sale, and the Silent Auction.
Over 300 items already are on the B4B website and are available for bid or for immediate purchase through the Buy It Now (BIN) option on the Auction Gallery at www.bid4boquete.com. Many items for sale would make wonderful holiday gifts.
Among the many offerings are vacation lodging in Gamboa, Boca Chica, Bocas del Toro, Boca Brava, Islas Secas, Panama City, Santa Clara, Santa Fe, Colon, Sante Fe, Las Lajas, Puerto Armuelles, Punta Burica, Volcan, Caldera, and Boquete.
Also up for bid or sale are massages, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, art, fine dining, classes, entertainment, adventures, tours, handicrafts, and gym memberships.
More practical needs are met with donations of books, plants, water storage systems, legal services, electrical inspections, medical and dental services, coffee, pet supplies, and veterinary services.
If you have goods or services to donate for auction, contact Penny Barrett at 6510-8934 or see a B4B representative at the Tuesday morning market.
Bid 4 Boquete also needs paper products, plants, wire coat hangers, plastic plant pots, and rummage sale items, which can be dropped off at the Tuesday morning market at the Bid 4 Boquete venue at the bar.
The organizers and volunteers of Bid 4 Boquete remind all readers that their needs and wants can be met while simultaneously supporting charitable and civic endeavors in the community. All proceeds go toward the support of the handicapped, area schools, the hungry, animal spay and neuter clinics, literacy, and other community services.
Bid 4 Boquete volunteer meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month, at 2:00 p.m., at The Oasis restaurant. New volunteers are encouraged and welcomed.
